Hood women trump Wilson Collge after 0-4 start

There are games that make a team reassess its game plan and then there are games that make a team believe in its game plan. The first four games of the season ended up in losses for the Hood women's basketball team. The third loss was a devastating loss to Drew University.

Only five games into the season the Hood College men's basketball team has already experienced the sweet taste of victory and the bitter taste of defeat. After losing their first game of the season, 90-59, to the University of Scranton, the Blazers won three straight, including the Rinso Marquette Tournament hosted by Lebanon Valley College.

Redskins and Ravens In Fight to Make Playoffs

In the National Football League, a team's success is often measured in terms of how far that team goes in the playoffs. Postseason success has been rare for the Washington Redskins and Baltimore Ravens over the last 12 years, with the only major achievement coming from the Ravens winning Super Bowl XXXV in 2001.

A sophomore, Kristina Straub, has been playing volleyball since her freshman year at Paint Branch High School. From Burtonsville, MD, Kristina is majoring in Management with a concentration in Accounting. She plans to become an accountant and eventually open a restaurant.
